The following are the next steps:
The student, along with his/her guarantor, has been emailed a copy of the academic year online tenancy agreement – which they will need to accept.
After accepting the online tenancy agreement, the student can log into their home page and process the £250.00 Advanced Rent Payment (For Cardiff, the advance rent is £100) using a debit or credit card. The deposit works like an advance rent that will go towards the rent.
NO ADVANCED RENT IN: Sheffield, Liverpool, Leicester, Scotland, Birmingham (Lakeside only), rebookers, late bookers.
Students with a UK home address will also need to register a card for future rent installments on Unite Portal. OR students can call on 0300 303 8645 (within the UK) or +441173027399 (from overseas) to provide the card details.
Students have 3 days to complete the 3 steps. Please note to complete a booking we require acceptance of the online tenancy agreement, receipt of a deposit payment, and card registration for future rent installments (International students won't be required to register a card for the rent payment). If any of these points are not processed within the offer window, then the booking will expire automatically.
Once the agent has mailed the booking request form to the Unite’s mail ID, their team will check and initiate the booking.
The student and the guarantor will receive the tenancy agreement by mail. They both need to sign the agreement.
The student needs to complete the advance rent payment.
If the student is UK based they need to register their card details for direct debits of the rent amount.
The International students can complete this step once they have moved in and done the account setup.
This entire process should be completed within 3 days.
